This USB2.0 adapter is suitable for wireless networks and meets the standards 802.11b/g/n on the 2.4GHz band. That's the common frequency in Europe.
The adapter provides you with a high-speed wireless connection with a transfer rate of up to 150Mbps (Turbo standard)!
Power is supplied via the USB connection from your laptop or PC.
By default, a solid, weatherproof outdoor omni-antenna (9 dBi) is included. Cable entry can be done with our MaxView Camper Cable Connectors.
The CT-1029 also works great with BT wifi spots..

Installation
Only once the drivers have to be installed on the laptop or PC whereon the antenna is to be connected.
That is easy with the included CD. In Windows 8, the antenna is recognized directly without loading drivers.
Drivers are available for all versions of Windows, Linux and Mac OS. After installing the drivers, your laptop can operate with the aerial.
Note: If you use the separately deliverable Wi-Fi router CT-1025 with this antenna, there are no drivers required at all!
Each laptop (or tablet) then operates wirelessly with the hotspot on which the antenna CT-1029 has been connected.
